ABOUT ME

Jean-Paul Malherbe is a director and photographer with twenty years of commercial and campaign work behind him.

His clients have included L'Oréal Paris, Schiesser, Triumph, Livy, and Wolsey — brands that demand precision, visual intelligence, and the ability to tell a story in seconds.

 

He works across both stills and moving image, and has spent long enough doing both that each informs the other.

Baggage Claim is his debut feature film.

​

He wrote it, produced it, and directed it independently — no studio, no investors, five days, seven people, ten thousand dollars. It is the first film made entirely on his own terms. It will not be the last.
